Celebrating 20 Years of Hortus Supplies International

This year marks a special milestone for us at Hortus Supplies International—we’re celebrating 20 years of growth, collaboration, and innovation in the horticultural industry. What started as a modest business, with three partners, has grown into a trusted supplying company to many of you around the world. And we could not have done it without the support of our incredible customers, suppliers, and partners.

But we don’t just want to look back and reflect on the past. We also want to make this anniversary about giving back and leave a positive impact.

Celebrating by giving back

In the spirit of the Dutch saying “Wie jarig is, trakteert” (those who celebrate, treat!), we have decided to do things a little differently this year. In 2025, we’re launching a special initiative to celebrate our anniversary. Each month, we will donate €500,- to a cause you nominate, whether it’s a charity, a small community project, or a global initiative that you care about.

Here’s how it works:

• Nominate a Cause: Each month, you’ll have the chance to submit a cause close to your heart.
• We choose a Cause: From all the suggestions, we’ll select one cause to receive a €500 donation for that month.
• Making an impact Together: Whether it’s a local initiative or a global effort, we want to help make a difference alongside you.

If your cause isn’t selected in a given month, it will automatically be added to the list of options for the following month, giving it another chance to be chosen.

Your ideas are already making an impact

We are excited and honered to share that we have already received some amazing suggestions from our customers, partners, and suppliers. From supporting healthcare research to providing education to those who need it most, these ideas are truly hartwarming and inspiring.

The first donation for January will be selected at the end of this week, and we can’t wait to announce the cause we’ll be supporting. Be sure to follow our website and social media to stay updated and see which projects we’ll be backing throughout 2025.
