The CO2 concentration in a greenhouse is important during cultivation. A higher CO2 concentration improves growth. CO2 is distributed evenly through plastic hoses in the greenhouse. We can deliver various types with amongst others various perforation distances, width and roll lengths.

You choose a certain type of CO2 hose depending on the climate in your greenhouse. The climate needed for growing your crops is leading for the amount of CO2 you require in the crop. When you know the amount of CO2 needed the diameter and puncture distance of the CO2 hose can be determined. We are here to advise and assist you with choosing the right CO2 hose.
Measuring the required amount
Since the hose needs to be attached at the beginning and the end you automatically lose a bit of your hose lenght. Next to this the hose is not always straight, this means you lose a little bit of length there as well. Due to those length losses we recommend to take 5% extra extra length into account. So if you have a path that is 500 metres long we advice to buy a hose that is 525 metres long.
We often get questions about the diameter of the hose, please note we always measure a CO2 hose when laying flat.
