MKP

Monopotassium phosphate (MKP) is a highly efficient water-soluble fertilizer that provides essential phosphates (52% P2O5) and potassium (34% K2O). Widely utilized in agriculture and horticulture, especially in greenhouse settings, MKP enhances root development, flowering, and fruiting. It also improves nitrogen utilization efficiency and boosts a plant’s resilience against stresses such as drought and frost. MKP is favored for its ability to be applied via fertigation systems and is suitable for a diverse array of crops, including fruits, vegetables, and ornamental plants.

MKP (monopotassium phosphate) is a source of phosphates and potassium for use in fertilizer solutions in the agricultural and horticultural (greenhouse) sector.

Phosphate promotes root growth and fruit growth. In addition, it is important for the energy transport in the plant cell, but also for the formation of buds, flowers and seeds. It stimulates root growth and serves as a building block for cell walls.

Potassium determines the yield and ensures optimal water management, resistance to stress, and obtaining a robust and strong plant. Increases nitrogen utilisation and also determines the resistance of a plant against frost.
